| Dr
Blackburn |
| Born and
raised in Western Nebraska, Dr. Blackburn
completed his undergraduate studies at Colorado State
University majoring in Biology and minoring in Human
Anatomy. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree with
the University Eye Institute in Houston Texas and served
his Externship with Omni Eye Specialist (Denver,
Colorado) and Irwin Army Hospital (Ft Riley, Kansas). He
received his Post Graduate Training with the Anis Eye
Institute and Nebraska Eye Surgical Center.
Dr.
Blackburn established his private practice in Sidney,
Nebraska in 1996. Dr Blackburn is a member of the
Contact Lens Association of Optometrists, American
Academy of Optometry, Nebraska Optometric Association.
Dr. Blackburn is active in the Rotary Club.
Dr. Blackburn lives in
Sidney where he is involved with agricultural livestock
and production, aviation and an avid hunter/fisherman.
